From Sea to Shining Sea

In the early 1970s, the 3-M Corporation commissioned John Falter to do a bicentennial series of paintings entitled "From Sea to Shining Sea." The original oil paintings are owned by 3-M. The Corporation had reproductions of the paintings made and one set of prints was donated to Cass County Historial Society by John Falter.

Summer! Time to Head to the Beach

Merritt Beach was a popular recreation area just south of the Platte River on the east side of Highway 75. This exhibit of photographs and memorabilia will help you to relive the fun times at the beach between 1930 and 1989.

Autumn! Time for Football and the Harvest Festival!

One side of the conference room will have an exhibit about Plattsmouth High School football; the other side of the room will have photographs and memoribilia about past Harvest Festivals (previously called the Kass Kounty King Korn Karnival).

Museum Hours & Admission

OPEN Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m; closed Sundays, Mondays, and major holidays.


Admission is $2.50 for adults, free for museum members and children under the age of 12.
