Most of the pieces in this exhibit are by Lavenia Grimes Comer. Examples of lace, embroidery, and crocheting are also on display.

The Plants of Lewis and Clark

Photographs by Linda Barnard Duncan

In 1804, Lewis and Clark camped in what is now Cass County. For the bicentennial of their visit in 2004, Linda Duncan gathered specimens and took photographs of plants that are native to Cass County and are mentioned in the journals of Lewis and Clark.

This annual exhibit of photographs and memorabilia from the popular recreation area that closed in 1989 always brings back many memories

Museum Hours & Admission

OPEN Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m; closed Sundays, Mondays, and major holidays.

 

Admission is $2.50 for adults, free for museum members and children under the age of 12.
