School Marker Project

We have started a project to place historical markers where every country school in Cass County once stood or still stands. At one time there were a total of 101 schools in the county.

The project is being funded by a bequest from Neil Lancaster, who served as a County School Superintendent for 40 years and was a long-time member of the Historical Society's Board of Directors.
